What do you do at TAG?
I am a qualified Accountant and started at TAG 20 years ago in the Business Advisory and Tax Division. My current role at TAG is in the Operations Division as the Development and Resources Manager. In my role, I ensure the TAG team are provided with the development, skills and resources they require to undertake and grow in their role. I also induct new employees and team member reviews.
I am very passionate about a positive culture and the development of the TAG team and believe my accounting background and experience greatly assists me in the role I play at TAG.
How do you prefer to start your day? Tea or Coffee
Coffee – Cappuccino or Latte with almond milk.
What was your first job?
Babysitting (child minding) – This was my job when I was still at school. I usually did this at night when the children were asleep. I loved it as I was paid to study, chat on the phone and eat the food they left for me!
What are you reading right now?
‘Captivate’ by Donna McGeorge, and I am about to start reading ‘The Happiest Man on Earth’ by Eddie Jaku.
What’s your favourite movie?
I don’t really have a favourite movie. Generally the movies I watch are either romantic movies or comedies that have a happy ending and I have to confess I have been known to google the ending to ensure it is happy before I watch!
Do you have any pets?
No, not currently. I have had many in the past – Cat, Dogs (including Puppy raising for the Guide Dogs Association), Guinea pigs, Rabbits, Chickens, Fish and Mice
Who’s someone you really admire and why?
My parents (and grandparents) – I may be biased but I really admire them for the choices they have made and the people they are (were).
